RECORDING TIME POSTPONED

January 9th, 2010

sad face

Today, we were supposed to head over to Rock-it Studios to record some songs with our free recording time. However, the engineer is undergoing some family trouble at the moment, so we have to re-schedule. We hope everything goes okay for him.

We will try to shoot for early March (aka spring break time) to record.

Good news: we’ll probably get a few more hours to record as compensation for the delay…which means more music for you!

Stay tuned kids,

Ant, Chris B, Matt C, Tatz & Joe

5 HOURS OF FREE RECORDING TIME!

December 17th, 2009

A few months back, 3/5 of A.S.B.P.K. participated a “battle of the bands” type thing at Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ.

We didn’t win, but turns out we still received 5 hours of FREE studio recording time. Kick ass!

For the next few weeks, we will be practicing diligently to that dreadful metronome and going in to the studio on Jan. 9 to do some recording.

We plan on tracking 3-5 songs depending on how effectively we can get the shit tracked. Hopefully, VERY effectively. We have a wealth of new material, and can’t wait to get some of it down on tape for you all to enjoy.

No shows for the next few weeks (i know, so depressing), but we will keep you updated throughout the practicing/recording process with all sorts of cool junk (vids, funny tweets, pictures, the works).

Sit tight…..new A.S.B.P.K. tunes are comin your way!

Thanks,

Ant, Matt C, Chris B, Tatz & Joe

A Love Letter to Chris’ ENGL202D Class

December 10th, 2009

The majority of Chris’ ENGL202D class at Penn State subscribed to our mailing list tonight, so we wanted to give them all a shout out and thank them for being awesome. They all helped out creating promo materials for us to use in the future, and all got free digital copies of our EP, “Schematics Asthmatics.”

We really appreciate the class taking an interest in our music. We do plan on invading the State College music scene this coming Spring, so be ready to party hard!

Shout outs to:

Charles M.
Keith B.
